Executive Management Team:

Brett Pardikes, President, CEO & Founder, CameraBright, Inc.

Let there be light! Brett Pardikes is a guy who has a lot of bright ideas. An engineering graduate from Colorado State University and business development whiz by nature, Brett offers a potent mix of engineering, marketing, and business development skills, and has proven to be a tireless champion of innovation.

Claims to fame include:

  • As an intern fresh out of school, Brett worked with the Conceptual Products Group to create The Media Center, a consumer convergence reference product featuring DVD, CD, and stereo capability from Cyrix Corporation.
  • Brett Pardikes is also co-inventor and co-patent holder of the world's first Portable Internet Terminal for consumers, the WebPAD reference platform by National Semiconductor Corporation, a convergence project leveraging a unique combination of software user interfaces, wireless technology and touchscreen displays.
  • In a fast-moving global marketplace, it's not enough to be innovative. You also have to find the right business partners and launch those great products into distribution. Brett has proven he can build powerful relationships between Fortune 500 companies and successfully launch leading edge products into profitable distribution.
  • Brett has a knack for building powerful relationships between Fortune 500 companies. As a Strategic Alliance Manager for National Semiconductor Corporation, he established and managed groundbreaking strategic alliances with Microsoft Corporation, Compaq, and other ISVs, ODMs, OEMs, System Integrators, and engineering design firms. He established National Semiconductor as a "co-developer" of Windows CE, a platform used in multiple next-generation information appliances and intelligent devices.
  • Most recently Brett worked as a Director of Business Development, creating strategic alliance programs throughout North America for Rapport Technologies, Inc., a division of Wyse.

Keys to his success in bringing major tech companies together for joint development and marketing initiatives include proficiency in multiple technologies, as well as strong knowledge of contract, patent, and intellectual property law.

Brett is an avid user of digital photography and video products, and spotted a hole in the market place - adequate lighting for low and no-light consumer photography and videography. Hence the CameraBright!T X1 -high-performing lighting accessory for consumers- was born in a flash.

Ken Grossman, VP of Engineering, CameraBright, Inc.

The time is right! Ken Grossman joined Brett Pardikes in early 2004 to define, design, and develop the CameraBright!T X1 - high-performing photo lighting accessories for consumers- with a keen eye for usability.

An electrical engineer since he graduated from Drexel University in 1985, his track record began at Hughes Aircraft to develop an airborne digital map system, a cutting edge aviation technology back in the day that's now found in many new cars now. After that, Ken worked for numerous PC manufacturers, and has contributed numerous innovations over the years to make personal computers run better, cheaper, and faster as the market became increasingly commoditized.

He ran into Brett at Cyrix Corporation which was later acquired by National Semiconductor Corporation. Ken and Brett collaborated in the design and development of the world's first Portable Internet Terminal for consumers, the WebPAD reference platform by National Semiconductor, a convergence project leveraging unique combinations of software user interfaces, wireless technology and touchscreen displays.

Since then, he's been a Senior Hardware Engineer for Cisco Systems, developing state-of-the-art standalone security appliances such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.

As a hardware engineer, Ken prides himself on innovating new ideas and then analyzing the trade-offs among design factors, usability, functionality, profitability, and environmental friendliness. He's the one who drives the relentless pursuit of new bells and whistles that can be profitably designed into robust, manufacturable products, staying one step ahead of the competition.
